The family of Nathan Ginther

Hi, my name is Mimi Day and I am fundraising on behalf of my sister Lisa and her two small children Cian and Kira who recently lost their husband and father Nathan. I never thought I would be creating a GoFundMe page for my family and am writing this with teary eyes and broken heart. After a beautiful day with his family swimming in a lake and playing at a park Nathan was having a camp-in in his living room with his children, when in the middle of the night he had a heart attack and suffered severe oxygen loss to his brain that changed his family’s life forever. After a week of hoping and praying for a miracle, Nathan’s family made the unbearable decision to let him go. He was surrounded by Lisa, his mom Gail and sister Lindsey. Even after his death, Nathan was able to help many families with organ donation. Nathan was an amazing father, loving husband, funnest uncle and over protective brother and son. Nathan was the type of man who would have done anything and given all he had for those he loved. His passing left his two children, Cian 5 and Kira 3 without a father and his wife Lisa with a bottomless hole to fill. The pain of losing Nathan so young and with such small children is beyond measure. We are requesting your generous donation to help fund the Ginther Family’s difficult time of need. The money will go toward medical expenses and to help pay for childcare and living expenses while Lisa works and tries to make a life for Cian and Kira without their father and husband.
