The Family of Shane Wade Carsten

On Sunday, February 19, 2023, our beloved Shane passed away unexpectedly at the young age of 39 due to a health condition. He left behind his beautiful wife, Shaleea (36), and their sons, Elijah (11), and Xander (7). Shane loved his family more than anything. Shane always brightened up the room with his smile and goofy personality and fantastic, quirky sense of humor. He always made sure to give you one of his infamous big bear hugs and let you know how much he loved you.

Shane loved spending time with his family and friends, working on his design business "Daft Rabbit Design," camping with his family, taking care of his many pets, cooking, baking, creating what his mom called "concoctions," going to concerts, playing video games and watching shows with Shaleea and the boys and being the best daddy and husband.

He touched the lives of many and it is our turn to give back to his family in their time of need. We are raising money to help cover the costs of end of life services and a celebration of life for his friends and family as this was very unexpected during the already difficult times we are living in. Any excess money raised will be given directly to Shaleea and the boys to try to get them back on their feet during such a tragic time.
