The Family of Tripp Johnson

Donation protected
Many hearts and lives have been forever altered following a fatal accident in Bel Air, Maryland, on March11th, 2019. Megan Fulleylove, was critically injured and her seven year old son, Tripp Johnson, lost his life. Megan was rushed to  University of Maryland Shock Trauma as her injuries were extremely severe and her condition was critical. She is still being treated for her injuries at Shock Trauma and she is has moved from being stable but critical, to serious condition.  The recuperative period, however, will take much longer than originally expected.  While trying to grasp the concept of what it will take for her to fully recuperate, she and Travis Johnson, the father of Tripp, and their family are having to  prepare to lay their beloved son to rest. Megan and Travis Johnson have always been amazing parents and Tripp was their whole world. No amount of time or money could ever fill the void in their broken hearts. It’s going to take the love and support of a village composed of friends and family to help them live through and with their loss.

Tripp was such an awesome kid that had a contagious smile with an even a bigger heart. He is loved and will be sorely missed by everyone whose lives he touched. He was a second grade student at William Paca/Old Post Elementary in Harford County. Tripp loved playing football and on game day he wore #56 proudly for the Joppatowne Seahawks.

Megan, with her lovable free-spirit and Travis with his zest for life, will be forever broken from their catastrophic loss. Nothing can take away the family's pain and grief but, it is our hope with this fundraiser, they will find some relief from the stressful worries involved with this tragedy.

After having several discussions with Megan's team of doctors about her current condition and what it is going to take to recover, the original goal of raising $50,000 will be able to cover all of the immediate funeral expenses, their lost wages, and a  small portion of the medical expenses. Your loving and generous donations have humbled this family to the point that no words can describe how appreciative they are. Since this posting, Tripp's family and close friends had a meeting to discuss the finances needed to properly lay Tripp to rest and to take care of Megan's medical expenses.  Although she hasn't needed any emergent surgical intervention, she has been referred to a specialist that may feel surgery is the only option for the repair of some of her fractures. We are very thankful that Megan will be able to completely recover as we have been worried if a complete recovery was even possible. However, the expenses this family will incur during this whole process exceeds the already achieved goal of $50,000.  The devastation of Megan and Travis losing their son, has emotionally crippled them and their family. They are extremely thankful to have a strong support group around them to help with coping and adjusting to a life without their son. The expenses that this family will endure and the finances needed have added to their stress and anxiety of how to pay for everything.

It is our hope with the increased amount of money to this fundraiser, your donations will help this family to focus on laying Tripp to rest  and grieve their loss, instead of stressing about the financial hardship this accident has put on this family. It doesn't matter how much you give because every dollar that you donate, contributes to this cause and we want to thank you in advance for helping this family in their time of need and support.
