The Family Recover after Wynter Smith's Death
Donation protected
This fund was established to help Symari Cole, the mother of 2-year-old Wynter Cole Smith, recover after Wynter's senseless and unprovoked death. Wynter was an amazingly smart and loveable little girl.... described by her family as a "bright light who was full of joy"! As reported in the Metropolitan Detroit news, Wynter was kidnapped by her mother's ex-boyfriend, who is not the father of Wynter, after violently attacking her mother. While leaving his biological son behind Wynter was kidnapped from Lansing, MI and found murdered several days later in an alley on the east side of Detroit, MI.
In addition to mourning her precious daughter's death and the mental and emotional trauma she is now dealing with, Wynter's mom is still recovering from the physical injuries she sustained in the brutal attack (she was sexually assaulted and stabbed multiple times in the presence of Wynter and Wynter's younger brother). This fund will help Wynter's mom as she takes the needed time away from work to recover physically, emotionally, and mentally, relocate from the home in which the brutal attack took place, as well as replace the vehicle that was stolen and used by the individual committing this heinous crime.
The family continuously asks that you keep Wynter's immediate family in your prayers!
Beneficiary: Symari Cole for the tragic loss of her daughter, Wynter Cole Smith.
Funds will be distributed to Wynter's mother, Symari Cole via her bank account to cover all necessary expenses as outlined in her story.
This fund was set up by Michele D. Fullen (the 1st cousin of Symari Cole and 2nd cousin of Wynter Cole Smith), permission granted by Wynter's maternal grandmother, Willeen Cannon.
