The Faroe Islands Podcast: Don't Call It A Comeback!

Donation protected
It happened quickly, but here we are. After some uncertainty and doubts, we're heading back to the Faroe Islands to record a 16th (!) season of our award-winning podcast.

After more than 15 years and 370 episodes, we remain the only podcast dedicated to the Faroe Islands... at least in English. (If you know of anyone doing a podcast about the Faroes in some other language, we would LOVE to meet then.) We've still got a love for the place, and after communicating with many of our listeners, we know you do, too. We also know that this is a show that has brought meaning and comfort to a lot of you. Indeed, it was some of our listeners who asked us to set up this campaign. And who are we to argue with the listening public?

For a number of reasons, we're putting together this trip at the last minute. If you want all the details, you can hear them in Episode 373, which came out a few weeks ago. We've set up this fundraiser to help offset the costs of the trip.

While on the islands, we'll be talking to musicians at the G! Festival, taking the new tunnel to Sandoy for a spin, and perhaps exploring a few islands we haven't been to yet (for the record, there are three).

If you can help us out, even a little bit can make a big difference. As in the past, we'll thank you personally on a future podcast, unless you ask us not to.
