"The Fates Align", a D&D-Inspired Thesis Film
Donation protected
Hi there!
I'm Brooke, a 4th-Year Animation Student at SVA currently directing and producing my Senior Thesis Film.
"The Fates Align" is a film heavily inspired by Dungeons and Dragons and other adjacent forms of tabletop role-playing games. This film is an homage to friendships formed and relationships grown through the widely renowned and deeply involved TTRPGS.
Currently, the film is well into production! We have all of our character designs and storyboards completed (examples shown below) and are over halfway done with our rough animation.
Though our progress is well underway, we need funding to ensure we can continue our steady pace before the Thesis deadline in late March. Currently, all funding for this project has come in the form of grants/scholarships or has come directly out of my pockets. I believe that artists deserve to be paid for their work, and so would like to compensate all extra hands employed to assist with this project.
Up to this point, I've enlisted the help of some incredibly skilled background painters (examples of their work are shown below), voice actors, and a phenomenal musician! With enough funding, I plan to bring cleanup artists, colorists, and sound designers onto the team to aid in my second semester of work on the film.

Thank you for taking the time to read, share, and/or donate to this project! I immensely appreciate support in any form and cannot express my gratitude enough for those that have read this far.
