Please join the fight to save Enfield's School System

Hello, My name is Tim Norris. I'm a resident of Enfield, CT, 06082, and a parent to a student of Enfield Public Schools.

Perhaps you may have heard, or seen in the news, that the Town of Enfield is going to be cutting 129.5 jobs in our school system.

Our school system, the children, can't afford to lose any of their administrators, teachers, the school sports programs, after school programs, after school buses, special education assistants, special ed teachers, paras, and more.

The Town's budget short falls could not have been anticipated. No fingers need to be pointed. Just people wanting to be a part of a miracle needed.

The financial shortfall for the Board of Education is approximately 9 million dollars.

I know we can't possibly raise every dollar needed. But, perhaps together we can raise enough money to at least save some jobs and some school programs.

The Town's population according to a 2022 census is approximately 42,212 residents.

If everyone can donate $10 to $20 we should be able to raise close to $800,000.00.

100% of the money raised will be donated to Enfield Public Schools in the hopes it can save some jobs and programs.

I know $10 to $20 isn't a lot, but if we get enough donations we may just do more good than we could have ever hoped for.
