The Final Buzzer For John Pollitt

Donation protected
It is with deep sadness I inform you of the transition of my cousin, John A. Pollitt. John, who I’ve called “Tony” all of my life and many of you called “Doc” or “Pollitt”, passed on Saturday, April 2, 2022.

John was born and raised in Lawnside, N.J. He was a member of the Haddon Heights High School Class of 1980 and attended The Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science on a Basketball scholarship. He was later inducted into the 3HS Athletic Hall of Fame.

He leaves to mourn his sudden death his beautiful daughters Nicole and Toni; his brother Richard, Jr., nephew LaMere Pollitt; and his mother, Carolyn Pollitt Gaines.

What he did not leave was an insurance policy.

John’s funeral is scheduled to be held: Friday, April 15th
9:00 Viewing - 11:00 Service
May Funeral Home
335 Sicklerville Road
Sicklerville, New Jersey, 08081

I write scheduled because it will not be able to occur unless we are able to raise $5,600 by April 12th. The funeral home allowed us this time to attempt to secure the funding for the service.

We are praying that this will afford his daughters and mother some peace and comfort after their loved ones tragically sudden loss.

We appreciate any help that you can give. Thank you so very much for sharing this plea. May God bless you!
