My two very good friends have had a very difficult year starting with the loss of their son last year. Shortly after losing Michael to a freak accident, George was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Donna and George also have an adopted daughter with autism. Along with their biological three children, they fostered and adopted several children over the years.
I met Donna at Ella Grasso Regional Center, where she began her longstanding dedication to helping those in need. I’ve been blessed to call her friend for over 40 years.
Last Sunday, Donna and George suffered another devastating blow. Their beloved home, located a few blocks from Zoar Burger on Route 34 was overcome by floodwaters, taking their two cars and destroying the foundation of their beloved home.
They need our help to get back on their feet. Please consider helping with any amount.
