The floods are making life in the jungle hard
Donation protected
Many villages scattered around the Ucayalli river (Limongema, Shambo por Venir, Baranca, Santa Isabel, San Juan etc) are struggling for the bare necessity to survive. Kids are literally in the water all day long, as there is no dry land around their homes anymore. Hard and heavy rains have hit the region again.
The situation is heartbreaking and I know I wouldn’t want that, to be, the reality I wake up to every day. These people are so brave in dealing with this nature violence but none of the less all their crops (yuca, plantains, rice…) have been destroyed and for a long period food will be hard tro get.
The situation is URGENT and anything that you could donate would be immensely appreciated as for sure will make a very big difference in the lives of this people. With the money we will raise we want to buy all the necessities for survival (rice, flour, sugar, pasta, grains, seeds, oil, potato) and use our own transport to go and deliver this to the most isolated villages, to the most affected communities and hoping that we will save as many families as we can.
Every little counts here in Peru, a family could survive with as little as 10 $ a month.
Please help me spread this and I want to thank you for your generosity in these challenging times.
UNITED WE ARE STRONGER. We all can contribute a little to make a massive difference.
