The Foar Brothers X SEND Relief

The Foar Brothers - Trent, Tim, Tom, and Ben - are raising awareness and support for SEND Relief's crisis relief in Afghanistan.

In September 2021, following the fall of Afghanistan’s capital to the Taliban, Send Relief prepared to receive Afghan families in Central Asia, Europe, North America and Africa by supporting trusted partners all along the refugee highway. Send Relief partners met urgent physical and emotional needs as well as shared the hope of Jesus.

Initially, in late 2021 and the following months, Send Relief provided for emergency needs,

including food, shelter, and medical care. As refugees began to stop for longer periods in certain places, Send Relief also supported partners addressing trauma and other more chronic needs of Afghans.

Currently, Send Relief is continuing to provide care and support to Afghan refugees through trusted partners in a variety of ways including:

• Trauma healing groups for Afghan women to process the trauma of fleeing their homeland.

• Health, hygiene, and parenting classes for Afghan women.

• Continuing food, shelter, clothing, and basic health and hygiene needs for refugees waiting

to be resettled more permanently or move on to their next location – and assistance in

finding long-term solutions for their basic needs as they wait on next steps.

• Emotional support and cultural orientation programs for Afghans arriving in new countries

– including language classes, children’s programs, job skills classes, etc.

• Micro-enterprise training and small agricultural projects for Afghan refugees to help them with self-sustainability and a means to provide for their families.
