The Fonse got shot & needs help with medic bills!

The Fonse was one of four shooting victims from early Sunday July 23rd at the shut down car show on Capitol Hill. He was shot twice and the only reason this isn’t a memorial fund is because an off duty EMT nearby tied off his wounds and saved his life.

He was transported to Harbor View, where doctors told him that had the bullet landed one inch to the left, it would have hit a major artery, causing him to bleed out and die before arriving at the hospital six blocks away.

Although blessed to be alive, he has significant medical bills to pay, can barely walk (even with a cane), and can’t work for the foreseeable future, which is why his friends convinced him to make this gofundme. Fonse is one of those rare, genuine people that will give a random person the shirt off his back if they needed it, while at the same time cracking jokes and making some of the best art you’ve ever seen.

We are all lucky we didn’t loose a friend, but we all know how the health care system works in the US. Please consider helping Fonse because 1. he needs it and 2. he wouldn’t think twice about helping you out.
