The Footsteps of Jesus Experience Film!

In September we announced our non-profit film project: a feature-length documentary capturing the unique experience of following the historical footsteps of Jesus on a spiritual pilgrimage with a group of friends who become like family. We asked for your support and the response was overwhelming: in one week we received $15,000 in donations to edit and complete the film!

I am excited to report that we are entering into the third round of editing on the film and it is coming together beautifully. The current running time is an hour and 23 minutes (we are shooting for an hour and a half). It is a nice mix of beautiful shots of the group visiting ancient sites, short clips of me teaching, and powerful testimonies from the pilgrims describing their experience in real time. While we obviously can't include everything from the two-week pilgrimage, the film captures the essential arc of the journey as we follow the life of Jesus from birth to resurrection.

We are planning to officially launch the film across North America and around the world on Palm Sunday weekend, March 22-24, with free screenings in local churches and some theaters! After the premiere, we are planning to release the film on Amazon and YouTube so people can watch it at home on their big-screen TVs and share the film with family, friends, and neighbors.

The editing and post-production of the film has turned out to be a bigger and more time-comsuming task than we anticipated. We need to raise an additional $5,000 to complete the editing and finish the project. We would be so grateful if you would make a donation to help us get this film over the finish line so we can share it with the world! We only need 5 people to contribute $1000 each, or 50 people to donate $100 each. Whatever you can invest in this project will make a difference!
