School Supplies Fundraiser (Summer 2022)

           "By lifting stars we build smiles"

Hello, my name is Sarai Molina; I am a sixteen-year-old rising highschool junior, in New York state. I would like to raise funds for the Foundacion Antonio Caba (Foundation Antonio Caba) organization in La Vega, Dominican Republic. The Foundacion Antonio Caba's striving goal is to serve and help the poverty-stricken families within their community and surrounding regions. This foundation is very dear to my heart since not only is my grandmother leading as the mother superior nun, but I have seen firsthand as a second-generation American throughout my life, from the image of my own parents, how living in constant poverty can have a significant impact on an individual's livelihood concerning the aspect of trying to move forward to accomplish your goals without having the proper resources to fund yourself. As of this, working with this foundation would allow me to connect back to my heritage and it would grant me the opportunity to serve the very same community that helped my family move forward with their lives. Therefore when we collect enough funds we will be buying bulk packages of school supplies and medical supplies online, we will then package and ship these supplies to the foundation with the add on of food packages, and once the supplies arrive, during the end of the summer I will personally deliver these items to the members of the different impoverished communities, with the help of our group of volunteers.
