The Freedom Marching Project was created:

In response to the thousands of people who found the courage to use their voices and take action in what is hailed as the most significant civil rights movement of our generation.

To honour and celebrate the community leaders and activists that are on the frontlines fighting daily and risking their lives for equity, access, diversity, participation and racial justice for Black, Indigenous and Radicalized communities.

How can you help?
Every donation you make is an investment towards our march for Freedom. You can support The Freedom Marching Project by donating to our Go Fund Me page to enable us and our partners to continue supporting, engaging and bettering our Black, Indigenous and Racialized communities.  

No contribution is too small. Every dollar donated to this campaign will be distributed evenly amongst The Freedom Marching Project and our community partners

Selam Debs: The Anti Racism Course
Provides advocacy through supporting and amplifying local community initiatives, racial justice work, and on social media.  They also offer speaking engagements and workshops for schools, organizations and institutions on antiracism, anti-oppression and specifically Anti-Black racism. workshops with different organizations and institutions.

This organization is affiliated with the Antiracism Community Collective, but is separate from it regarding workshops, speaking, and the Antiracism Course. The Antiracism Community Collective is co-run by Selam Debs and Carla Beharry.

Parents of Black Children
Parents of Black Children (PoBC) is founded on the principles of anti-oppression and rooted in the knowledge that Black children are experiencing anti-Black racism within their schools and connected systems daily. The vision of Parents of Black Children is to effectively engage education leaders, to create an equitable and peaceful educational experience, free from oppression and anti-Black racism for students of African Canadian descent.

Freedom Marching Project (Music & Videos)

3 SONG EP
The EP features the songs: Freedom Marching Part I, II & III and collectively the songs feature over 40 Black, Indigenous and Racialized Artists from around Canada who lent their voices to the cause. The EP was produced by Da-Rell Clifton, vocally produced by Juno Nominee Gary McAuley & Darren Hamilton, and mixed/mastered by Grammy nominee Dan Brodbeck.
