On the morning of December 12th, our family's world was shattered upon learning of the sudden passing of Chikaodili Udegbunam— a cherished mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, daughter-in-law, and friend.

In 2020, Chikaodili relocated to Canada, facing the common challenge shared by her international colleagues: the need to successfully navigate all medical exams to obtain her license to practice as a doctor in Canada. Determined to achieve this milestone swiftly, she became an active member of a medical coaching group, where she passionately contributed to various group activities.

Her unwavering dedication and hard work paid off when she triumphantly passed all her exams and secured a clinical placement. This marked the culmination of a three-year journey marked by diligent efforts and labor. With anticipation and joy, she eagerly looked forward to the year 2024, aiming to commence her career as a medical doctor— a dream tragically cut short by her sudden demise. Even in her absence, her radiant spirit continues to shine from the heavens, guiding others through the darkness.

Chikaodili was not only a diligent professional but also a beautiful soul, cherished by her family and friends. Her foremost priority in life was to bring happiness to her three young children.
