The Furbush Family

Hi, my name is Laura Furbush.

Yesterday, while out picking up stuffing for thanksgiving, I stepped down from a curb wrong and felt my ankle snap.

The ladies at the food bank ran over to help and were so helpful getting me to the emergency room.

After spending most of the morning and afternoon at the ER, the radiologist concluded that I had tore the tendon from the bone and a piece of bone had chipped off.

As most of you know, I am the only person bringing in income at this time, so I am extremely overwhelmed about the situation. The ER Dr has put me off from work until December 11th. I currently do not have any sick or vacation time to use, and I am definitely feeling unprepared for this accident.

I know it is the holidays and this honestly could not have happened at a worst time. Anything you can donate would be so helpful for our family.

I also wanted to give a special thank you to the ladies and gentlemen at the food bank. I really appreciate everyone who ran over to help me. A super BIG thank you to Trish for driving me to the ER and then getting my vehicle home to my family. I can not thank you all enough for the love and support you gave me.
