The Fyffe Family

Hi, my name is Josh Williams. I’m a charge nurse at UK KDMC. One of my co-workers, Kayla Fyffe, and her family lost their home and all of their belongings during the most recent storm. Kayla just had surgery and currently her and her family are trying to figure out a place to stay when she is discharged from the hospital. Their insurance will cover to get a new home and some belongings, however, they will essentially be starting from scratch due to the severe damage of their home and belongings lost. Kayla is also finishing up nursing school to get her RN degree and has 3 kids of the ages 4, 11, & 14. After talking with other co-workers, we have decided to start this fundraiser to help collect money to give to them in order to help alleviate any financial burden they may encounter during this unprecedented time. There is no one more deserving than Kayla and her family. Kayla is such a hard worker and has had to over come a multitude of obstacles, as a team we want to help and don’t want her to have to worry about accumulating more debt and having more stress on her plate as she finishes school and recovers from surgery. Any and all donations would be much appreciated and will help in anyway.
