The Garbutt Family - Brittany & kids
Donation protected
As family members, friends, colleagues, hockey and softball buddies ... .we're all grieving the loss of Josh Garbutt.
How unfair life is sometimes! It is hard to comprehend that within three weeks, he was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, endured chemotherapy, was in remission and then lost his battle due to internal bleeding. We are heartbroken to lose such a good-hearted person like Josh. He leaves behind his loving wife Brittany, his daughters Reese (8 years old) and Finley (5 years old), and his son Jamison (2 years old)
Everyone cherished his funny personality, constant smile and resounding optimism. Josh was everything but a normal human being - attending each and every daddy-daughter dance with his girls, singing boyband songs, dancing with his kids in the kitchen, and making the love of his life smile (literally all the time). Brittany and Josh were the perfect fit - giggling and smiling together through their life's journey.
Josh was always looking out for his family, his friends and his community, always present to lend a hand. He touched so many lives in his short life of 40 years. All of us are experiencing a tremendous loss, especially his family.
As Brittany, Reese, Finley, Jamison, Josh and the Luka Family, have been an important part of our family’s life for 16 years, we are reaching out to the community and asking for a donation to the family- any donation will matter as Brittany battles her life without Josh.
We are sure Josh is smiling down on us, observing how all of us can make a difference in their kids' lives and support the love of his life.
Josh, we miss you.
