Help Us Grow Hope — One Seed, One Story, One Person at a Time At The Garden Army, we believe in the power of nature to change lives. We’re a Community Interest Company based at Full Circle Farms in West Hoathly, West Sussex, and our mission is simple: grow food, grow people, grow community. We support people of all ages who are living with mental health and wellbeing challenges — from anxiety and depression to PTSD and social isolation. And we do it through something beautifully simple: working the land together. Whether it’s planting vegetables, feeding animals, sharing lunch in the greenhouse, or just having a quiet moment in nature — our care farm is a safe, welcoming space for anyone who: • Needs a sense of purpose • Wants to feel part of something bigger • Is looking to connect, talk, or simply breathe • Just needs a place to be themselves We don’t pretend gardening is a magic fix — but fresh air, meaningful work, a sense of achievement, and community connection can go a long way. We also run volunteering days, school visits, community projects, and corporate team days. Visitors get stuck into real farm work, learn about regenerative farming, gain new skills, and support the development of a place that truly matters. Here’s why we need your support: We have a big vision — to grow Garden Army into a permanent, fully equipped therapeutic farm with: • A purpose-built kitchen garden • Tailored educational programs for young people and adults out of work • Alternative education for children who struggle in mainstream schools • Employment and training opportunities rooted in real-world growing and farming • A full circle model of food and human regeneration But right now, we’re facing a very real, very practical need: we need a bigger more permanent home As our sessions grow in popularity, our facilities are falling behind.
