The Garret Mills Legacy Centre

Garrett Mills was taken from this world way too soon. His death affected so many and stunned a community, but his life and his wish to leave something good behind resonated with them more.

The Family of Garrett Mills and those closely affected have come together to carry out Garrett’s Legacy. That Legacy is to make the world a better place.

Garrett Mills was a kind, loving and compassionate kid. He lived to make people happy. He was silly, funny and thoughtful. He didn’t understand how people could be cruel to one another and set about his days changing the world for the better. This is the legacy this young man has left behind. We are the Guardians of that legacy.

We plan to create The Garrett Mills Legacy Centre. This will provide a safe environment for victims of trauma, veterans, first responders and those that suffer physical and or medical limitations to heal through sport, music and alternative methods.

We are honoured to have teamed up with the Napanee Archery Club. The Invictus Sub Aqua Club officially launched the first British Sub Aqua Club in Canada and have teamed with Explorer Diver in Kingston. We have highly qualified divers, that specialize in teaching people with physical limitations. Everyone can and should be included in sport.

With your assistance, the funding will be used to purchase additional scuba/archery equipment, so individuals attending, who may be less fortunate can still benefit and be included in these sports.
