The Garwal Family

I am so thrilled to announce that we hit our original goal in less than 24 hours! Our community and beyond has exceeded all expectations. Brenda wanted to express her sincere gratitude for the outpouring of love and generosity. Thank you, friends for showing up and demonstrating what love in action truly looks like.
On Friday, September 8th, we tragically lost our friend, John Garwal, to his battle with depression. John leaves behind his loving wife, Brenda, and their four children: Jimmy, Madi, Sam, and Brie. John was a cherished individual and an exceptional family man. He was a devoted Christian and was guided by his love for Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior. He had a heart for service, a deep appreciation for surfing, the beach, coaching, and above all, his family. John was the person who would always extend a helping hand to a friend, and he was known as "everyone's #1 supporter."
With John's sudden passing, the Garwal family is faced with the daunting task of rebuilding their lives. In addition to the emotional toll, they now face mounting financial pressures, including college tuition, bills, and other obligations. This is further compounded by John's recent time off work, leaving them in a challenging financial situation.
We come together as a community to provide support and help ease the financial burden on this loving family. Our goal is to enable them to focus solely on their journey of healing during this incredibly difficult time. Your prayers and contributions are appreciated and will make a meaningful difference in the Garwal family's life.
For those who know Brenda, you are familiar with her kind heart and her gratitude for the outpouring of love and generosity our community, and even those who may not personally know them, have already shown.
Please join us in offering support and comfort to the Garwal family as they navigate this heartbreaking chapter in their lives. Together, we can make a positive impact and honor John's memory by helping his family during their time of need.
Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
