The Gathering of Goodness

The Gathering of Goodness will take place on July 3, 2021 at Bear Creek Park Amphitheater in Medford, Oregon. This all-day, free, outdoor, community event will include live music, art, food, vendors, and fun for all ages. Our mission is to create a safe, fun-filled, day in the park as an uplifting experience for the Rogue Valley community which has gone through so much hardship this past year with the pandemic and Almeda fire which swept through Talent and Phoenix  in September of 2020 and destroyed 2,800 homes and businesses and displaced thousands of people, many of whom are still  struggling. 



We were inspired to create this event when we found this beautiful amitheater at the park on a sunny spring day and felt that it would be the perfect place for a community event with plenty of room for social distancing while still being able to feel a sense of togetherness and allow everyone to see the stage. 



The event is being organized by Yoga for Your Ears productions, Johnny B's and and an amazing team of local artists and musicians coming together to create a memorable day for our community.



 We are seeking financial support to help cover the costs of putting on this event and paying the amazing performers that are volunteering their time and artistry to create a magical day for the community. We are not looking to make money off this event but are providing it as a service to our community. With your help, the funds raised will cover the cost of the following items, some of which we have already paid for out of pocket to ensure the event will go on:

- paying the amazing 9 live musical performers who will provide entertainment for the day (line up to be annouced May 1st)
- the rental of the space for the day from Medford Parks and Recreation 
- the required permits from the city 
- event insurance 
- security
- renting port-a-potties and hand washing stations
- supplies for craft projects and games for kids and families
- supplies such as masks and hand sanitizer to provide to attendees to keep the event safe
- art supplies for the community art pieces
- stage set up and decoration


We would be so grateful to receive donations of any amount to help cover the cost of putting on this event for our community to celebrate life after very difficult year!
