The Gemelas Family

For those of you who don't know, my sister Sam lost her husband and the father of her 8 month old baby girl last Sunday night. Bobby was the most selfless and genuine man you could find, and he was always thinking of everyone else. I'm putting together this gofundme in honor of him, because he would of done the same for another family in need.
Sam and Bobby were so eager to start a family together, just one month after their wedding in October 2021, they found out Sam was pregnant with their first child. They decided to put their honeymoon on hold, and save up to buy their first home. The future looked bright for them... but in the blink of an eye, their whole world turned upside down. Bobby was rushed into the emergency room, just 6 months after their wedding day in excrutiating pain. After a few days in the hospital, the doctors discovered a mass at the base of his spine. They were able to remove 90% of it, but when the biopsy came back it was malignant. They diagnosed Bobby with a rare form of Glioblastoma.
This cancer was known to grow in the spine and brain, but for Bobby there was no mass in his brain so they had to approach the disease differently. After getting other doctor's opinions, it was clear that there was a tough road ahead for the two of them so they moved in with Sam's mom. At 5 months pregnant, Sam quit her job to take care of Bobby full-time. After undergoing treatments, and fighting through all of the pain that those treatments brought on, Bobby kept pushing through and fighting this disease. He began to lose feelings in his leg and foot, but Bobby kept pushing. They both welcomed their beautiful daughter, Kalligrace into the world in August 2022. She brought this family so much happiness and hope for a brighter future!
But in December, Bobby was back in the ER, with severe head and backpain. They discovered that his cancer had spread into his brain and spinal fluid. A few more surgeries helped to relieve the pressure and pain in his head, but Bobby was no longer able to walk after the final surgery in January of 2023. After making several more attempts to slow down this awful disease, including full brain radiation, it was decided that Hospice would be set up for Bobby to feel comfortable in his own home with Samantha and Kalligrace.
Bobby left our world last Sunday on 4/23/23, his family was beside him and we believe that he is finally at peace. The tragic loss of my brother-in-law has left an incredible hole in this family's hearts. Samantha will raise Kalligrace to know that her BaBa (daddy) was a fighter and never gave up until his very last breath. Now it is up to Sam and Kalligrace to carry on their love legacy. We ask that you keep them in your daily prayers, and if you would like to make a donation to help Samantha raise this beautiful little girl to have a bright future , it would not go unappreciated.
