The Gerrets Family

Hi, my name is Jennifer Vaccaro and this Go Fund Me has been formed to help our amazing friends of nearly three decades, Kristian and Aimee Gerrets. Kristian and Aimee are high school sweethearts who have been married just shy of 24 years. A graduate of Holy Cross, Kristian has recently started a new position at Entergy while Aimee is finishing her twenty fifth year teaching at Mount Carmel Academy where she is also an alumna. On March 16th, which is also their oldest daughter Genevieve's 13th birthday, they found out that their 11-year-old daughter Charlotte has a rare form of adult cancer called Synovial Sarcoma. The Gerrets family is now facing a challenging next stage as Charlotte begins treatment including chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery at both MD Anderson in Houston and Children's Hospital in New Orleans. Funds raised will help them with Charlotte's unexpected medical expenses. If you are able to give, please consider a donation.
