The Good Bowl Hospitality Relief

The Good Bowl is a mission based restaurant in Traverse City that has a charity model to donate $1 per bowl sold to a local, national or global nonprofit. We rotate charities each quarter that generally fall in the humanitarian or environmental space but with the recent crisis of COVID-19 we are focusing all of our efforts to support the hospitality industry.
In an effort to provide immediate assistance to local Traverse City workers in the food service and hospitality industry negatively impacted by the Coronavirus, we are launching The Good Bowl Hospitality Relief fund.
The relief fund will launch April 1st in partnership with the Traverse City Downtown Development Authority and The Ticker/Northern Express. The program will provide gift cards to individuals seeking financial assistance for day-to-day living expenses such as gas or groceries. The one-time individual gifts are meant to offer a lifeline to those most in need and will be disbursed on a weekly basis.
In addition to our $1 per bowl donation to this fund, we will also offer "We will carry on" totes on our website for $12 with all proceeds donated to the relief fund as well as a donation button our our online ordering system at www.goodbowleatery.com
We have always been proud of our charity model and have donated a total of $50,000 to 15 nonprofits since we opened in July of 2018 but for this unprecedented crisis we would be grateful for any donations to help us sustain this relief program.
