In January this year, Steve and Sarah’s oldest son, Aiden, suffered strokes at just 16 years old. Since then, he has been in rehabilitation to gain his strength and motor skills back. He and Sarah have been fighters in their battles. Unfortunately, I am heartbroken to say that Aiden passed away this morning, April 30th. I have no words and can only do my best to help their family. Please, anything will help as they navigate this tragedy. I have no further details and will continue to respect the family’s privacy in this difficult time.

1/2024 Hi, my name is Lauren and I started this fundraiser to help Steve’s family after his tragic passing today.

At around 12pm today, August 22nd, Steve was hit head on on the highway by a vehicle in the other lane that crossed the center median. Steve passed away at age 51, leaving behind his wife, Sarah, and two boys, Aiden and Jason.

Steve grew up in San Jose and moved to Santa Rosa when he was 29 where he met his wife, Sarah, a year later. He loved music, singing, and playing his guitar. He was also a huge Steelers fan and love the SF Giants. Many of us remember him in his days at Longs Drugs where he was “the photo guy”.
