Life rarely turns out as expected. This week's fires reminded us all of this reality. The beautiful fullness of life can be replaced with scarcity and ash in one swoop. For Tara, Theodore (16), Sebastien (21), and Eileen (95), this is their story.

For the last 7 years, Tara Grand and her family have called Altadena home and we have been blessed to journey with them. Unfortunately, The Grand's now find themselves with the daunting task of starting over. And while life has many lessons to teach, it also reminds us that we never build alone.
