Hello! I’m Victoria Rose, a London-based burlesque performer and producer, passionately involved in the industry since 2017. Over the past few years, I’ve proudly created and produced The Great British Striptease, inspired by the legendary 1980s competition of the same name. In 2024, I launched The Great British Striptease Contest, and thanks to your support, it was a huge success! ✨

What Your Donations Made Possible in 2024:

✅ Paid all competitors above the living wage (most contests don’t pay performers at all!)

✅ Covered travel expenses so performers outside of London could compete and ensured safe late-night travel

✅ Paid all backstage roles the London Living Wage, including stage managers, tech crew, and front-of-house

✅ Paid myself a producer fee- something many producers never get to do

✅ Kept ticket prices accessible and provided 10+ free tickets for those who couldn’t afford to attend

This year, I’m planning something even bigger, a full two-night weekender at the same venue!

✨ Saturday Night: A glamorous Gala Show, spotlighting trailblazing performers & striptease icons

My top priority? Fair pay for EVERYONE involved. Performers, hosts, judges, videographers, photographers, stage managers, front-of-house- everyone deserves to be paid properly for their work.

I’m also committed to:

Keeping ticket prices accessible, so the whole community (including young working-class artists) can experience burlesque

Covering travel expenses for performers so they don’t have to pay to perform

Bringing in a special guest or two from outside the UK (if funding allows!)

I’m aiming to raise £5000 to support venue costs, fair wages, travel expenses, and keep ticket prices low. With the arts becoming less accessible, venue costs skyrocketing, especially for working-class artists, this is my way of ensuring burlesque remains vibrant, inclusive, and celebrated.
