The Griner Family

Dear family and friends of the Griners,
Due to a medical emergency Bert is in the ICU. This is due to sepsis, and some type of bacteria that has attacked the skin in his leg.  Currently his medical team is is checking to make sure it has not affected deeper into his skin, or into the muscle. Bert will probably be in the hospital for no less than a week. After his medical team makes determinations needed, he is looking at needing a skin graph to help repair his leg.After his discharge, he will be needing home health care.
Most of us know Bert was to start his new job this past monday. Unfortunately, he was not able to go in for his first day because he is seriously ill. With the job change comes an insurance change. With Bert not able to go into work, He will not be able to attain insurance that he and his family needs, and will also be without paychecks to help sustain his family. Julie is not currently at work because she is being a very diligent wife and sticking close by his side. This is where we, their friends can help them.
One thing we are for sure is bills do not stop. They will have a lapse in insurance coverage, and they are without income for a while while he is recovering. If we could all just make a small donation to help them make it through this hurdle, We know it will be positive to his healing and their welfare.
