The Gustafson Family - Help for Mrs. G (Ingrid)

Mrs.G/Ingrid is known by most as a dedicated and caring teacher. She’s a wife, mom, and abuela to two lucky grandkids. Her family and friends stretch the globe from Venezuela, Sweden, to her hometown in Northern California. If you know her, you know she’s a rarity.

On January 13th Ingrid went into the hospital feeling ill. She tested positive for COVID and the harsh symptoms quickly caught up. The strong woman that she is, fought to stay off a ventilator as long as she could but after 6 days of struggling to breathe it was in her best interest to give her lungs and body a break. She has since been sedated on a ventilator in the ICU.

While we remain hopeful and optimistic, we are unsure what her journey through the impact of the virus and recovery holds.
