Hello all! My name is Lia. I am a single

mother of 5 beautiful girls. We are raising funds for first and last months rent.

On August 31, 2023, I graduated from the Windsor Life Centre, a home for women. I had made the decision to find healing from addiction through God and this amazing home for myself and my family. On this journey I found the best support system anyone could ask for. With their help, love and encouragement, I succeeded.

The date following my graduation, I was married, September 1st, 2023, to my husband and partner of 9 years, and father to my 4 youngest, and step father to my oldest. My life was flourishing. I started work at a new job the following October of 2023.

On November 28th, 2023, the unimaginable happened. I came home early from work and within a half hour of being home my husband was arrested for sexual assault on a minor. The details are horrendous and will not be shared. But through all of this, I can thankfully say I have stayed sober. Only through God and the help of my amazing, loving support.

So today, I am asking for help in relocating to a new home in Windsor, to be close to my support, to keep myself and my girls safe and give them the best they can have, just as I was given.

I was accepted to SE College to start my new journey of PSW/HSW paid training course. My start date is March 15th, 2024.

Our goal is to find and secure a home and move-in by or before the end of February 2024.
