The Harborne Phonebox Appeal

Through the BT ‘Adopt a Kiosk’ scheme, and with the kind support and guidance of The Community Heartbeat Trust, we have managed to safeguard the last remaining red phone box in Harborne.

Ownership of the red phone box has now been transferred to The Community Heartbeat Trust. Our shared aim is to repair and renovate the box, returning it to its former glory and repurpose it as a defibrillator hub.

Believe it or not, there are less than 15 red phone boxes left in Birmingham. With such a dwindling number, it would be wonderful to guarantee this phone box's long term survival as a heritage asset as well as transform it into a community facility.

In order to do this we need donations - any amount would be gratefully received.
