- Lewis was an amazing father and husband. He will be dearly missed. He touched they hearts of many people. He could fix anything. Loved by many people.he was passionate for small engines and repairing anything he could get his hands on.
- In september 2019 he suffered a major stroke that left him left side paralyzed. I and my wife was his caregivers. As time went on his health got more worse. Once his cancer was diagnosed it was stage 4.
- I Bobby hargett making this out to cover expenses for funeral and cremation of my father Lewis hargett. I'm trying to do what he wanted. He didn't want us sitting around crying, he wants cremated and everyone to go on living and remember the good times.
- Lewis hargett passed from cancer on Monday April 8th 2024. He left behind his son and siblings. His wife predeceased him by a little over a month. After years of being apart they are finally reunited.
