Who this will help

My name is Sara Harris and I am raising money to benefit my family while my husband, Tim, is recovering from shoulder surgery.

Why I'm fundraising

My husband was injured at work in July and now he needs shoulder surgery to repair his rotator cuff. He is on workman's Comp, however they don't start paying until two weeks after the surgery and even then it will be 2/3rds of his regular pay. So, we will have to go 2 weeks without any pay, then a significant decrease in pay. This money would help us to stay afloat while he recovers and gets back to work.

Update: Tim's surgery went really well. They were able to repair the injury and he is now on his way to recovery. We still have 6 more weeks of limited pay and coming close to having utilities shut off and defaulting on our mortgage. Any help, even $1, is appreciated it all adds up. Thank you.

Any funds raised will be used to pay monthly bills (mortgage, utilities, groceries, Internet, and cell phone). This support would mean so, so much to us. It would allow my Timmy peace of mind knowing that things are covered why he can't work, allowing him to heal stress free.
