The Harter Family with medical expenses

Hi,

My name is Deb Gray. Cary Harter and I have been very good friends for over 20 years. About a year ago, her husband, Mike, was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer. He has had a good year, but now they are running into many doctor visits and hospital stays. Not only is this draining emotionally, but also financially. While there is insurance, as we know, that will not cover everything. Cary is working as much as possible but is taking time off work to be with him as well as going to the doctor appointments. Of course, it is costly to take time off work in addition to all of the unforeseen expenses.

Mike retired in January with hopes of being with his family more as well as being more involved with music. He has touched many lives with his music as well as helping others with their music. I think one would be hard-pressed to find someone who doesn’t enjoy being around him.

It is likely that all of us at least know someone who has been through this, and we are familiar with the pain and stress involved.

I want to help lessen the financial burden as much as possible. Thank you!
