Hi, my name is Amy! I’m helping my friends (they were clients of mine when they only had one sweet baby!!) Now they are expecting baby number 6! I’ve been their photographer for years! All Emily’s pregnancies went amazing! However this pregnancy is different. She will be delivering at the Boston Children’s Hospital!
Here are the words of Emily: ❤️

I’m a stay at home mom and my husband Matt works to provide for all of us. At 27 weeks Canton Potsdam Hospital
suspected an issue so they sent me for a consultation in Vermont. Found out March 9th at 27 weeks 5 days that our sweet baby had a CHD. Baby was diagnosed with Hypoplastic Right Heart Syndrome with pulmonary atresia.
The news was devastating but we knew no matter what if there was a chance we were going to do everything we possibly could and that’s what we are doing.

Our sweet baby will need procedure done at 1-2 days old to put in a shunt and then
A second surgery 4-6 months old and again a third surgery at 2-3 years old!

I’m a mom of 5 ( 3 school aged kids who will be finishing off the end of the school year without me or daddy at home). They go to NNCS!

We will have to leave our 5 children for 6 weeks. It will not be possible to be away from that long when I’ve only ever spent 2 nights maximum away from each of them so I will want to travel home to see them or if they are able to come and see us and their sweet baby brother or sister (gender is a surprise).

My husband Matt has been taking time off for appointments in Vermont and when we went for a consultation in Boston. Funds raised will also be going towards bills that may accumulate with being gone and not being able to work, paying for travel and housing which we will need during the time we are in Boston! At least 6 weeks which is why we started at 3,000, just that alone will house us for 6 weeks.

We will have to home at 38 weeks to deliver our baby at Boston Children’s Hospital. We leave May 20th, 2023!

Money that is raised will go to travel expenses and all other expenses that may arise! We were told housing was $30 a night and just found out it’s $100 a night!

Any amount is appreciated and if you can’t donate (times are tough, we get it), please share! It will be greatly appreciated!

❤️❤️

from myself, Amy, these friends were reluctant about asking for help! I decided to start this with all the information Emily has given me! This family needs our help

UPDATE from Emily (5/22/23)

Matt and I arrived in Boston last night around 11 to wait for our baby to arrive. We thought we had at least a week..Little did we know I would be going to L&D instead of my routine visits today. This baby didn’t want to waste anytime once we were in Boston ( so thakful I was in Boston when I went into labor) but now this baby is being soo stubborn and doesn’t want to come out but our baby will be here soon so please please keep us all in your prayers for a safe/fast labor and extra extra prayers after baby is born and gets brought to the NICU❤️❤️
