As many of you know, Richard, David, and their mom Choi have been solely running a small family business and were in between housing as of a few months ago. Then without warning, last Thursday night Choi suffered a brain aneurysm and passed away one week later. She was an exceptional person and incredibly hard worker, and she leaves behind her capable but grief stricken sons who suddenly are strapped with multiple, unexpected expenses and logistics including how to keep the business afloat, their mom's legacy alive, and get back on their feet at the same time.

This money is going to go toward covering the medical bills they accrued while their mom was in the ICU, any revenue lost during this immediate time, a security deposit for a new apartment, trauma therapy, and arranging for a proper burial and memorial in Choi's home country of Korea.

For those of you lucky enough to have known Choi, or who know Richard and David, they are an earnest and devoted family who have been part of our community for years, and have always given what they can to others in need. Thank you in advance for showing the Hausers that same kindness in a moment of crisis, and for giving what you can so that this horrible time can be one of healing and new beginnings.
