The Healey Family Adoption

Hi everyone! We have BIG news!

We are in the midst of an amazing adoption process!

For those of you that don't know, Sydney was diagnosed with peritoneal and ovarian cancer during the birth of our son, Hudson, and underwent several rounds of chemotherapy and surgeries. Sydney went from being told she had a short life expectancy to now being over a year into remission! Through this journey, our family found that God had a greater purpose for us and this hardship would turn into a blessing. We are so excited to have an opportunity to adopt a child to love and to be able to support and love their biological family as well.

We are humbly asking for your prayers, encouragement, and support for both our family and our future match as we navigate the rest of this process. Currently, we are in the home study phase and then we will begin our waiting/match period. This time is expected to last 2-4 years while our agency, us, and the biological family make the perfect match. This process is intense, consuming, and difficult but we are trusting that as it comes to fruition we will continue to see the greater purpose of God's plan for our family.
