Our Vision
Hi, I’m Lou Reed, founder and CEO of TribalNews.TV, social enterprise based in Australia.
This is an invitation to come together as one, to value our worth and each others worth, to find inspirational leaders to befriend, to be inspired by, to collaborate with.
In this campaign we are putting a call out for resources for 3 Inspirational Leaders who are tackling global issues head on, creating local solutions for gender inequality, extreme poverty, and human trafficking. One based in Australia, one in Nepal and one in Cambodia.
Giving Women A Voice
TribalNews.TV a place were we give women a voice, where we tell the untold stories, where we collaborate to rewrite their community story, so that together we can rewrite our global community story.
Rewards
For each contribution you receive our Art of Manifesting Challenge Training - Valued at $497
A 29 Day Challenge, identify where you sit on the continuum of self actualisation. Deep dive into the story of you, over the years our subconscious created a core story about ourselves and our life, a collage of our wounded stories that became our world view, through which we interpret our life story. Explore Maslow's Core Needs through video prompts, writing prompts (journeying & journalling), art prompts and energy prompts.
INSPIRATIONAL LEADER 1
Gender Equality – 70 women and 19 children have died this year in Australia from domestic violence
Our first inspirational leader is Deb. Deb and her team run the WASH House, a centre for women that has operated for over 36 years in Western Sydney, Australia. They work to reduce the impact of poverty, social disadvantage, and violence in the lives of women. The work at the WASH House is based on feminist, human rights and social justice principles.
Our goal is to support Deb and her team so that they can provide key counselling for the women at risk during this holiday season. I invite you to join the tribe and take a stand for gender equality, collaborate with the WASH House and support the team to provide essential services at the time of year when women and children need it the most.
INSPIRATIONAL LEADER 2
Zero Poverty - In Nepal 25% of people are living on less than 50 cents per day
Our second inspirational leader is Dikchhya, a humanitarian from Kathmandu, Nepal. As a result of extreme poverty and discrimination in some regions of Nepal, many newborn babies are discarded, often outdoors amongst the rubbish, where they are left to die. The disabled and elderly can become too much of a financial burden on their families and suffer the same fate, forced out of their homes, left to die on the streets or under bridges, from the cold or starvation.
Dikchhya has made it her life purpose to provide food, shelter and love to as many of these victims as possible. She currently houses over 75 women, men and babies. Her community has become one big family where they all take care of each other, providing purpose as well as a home.
I invite you to join the tribe and take a stand for zero poverty, to support those, who through no fault of their own, have been discarded by society. This is a call to collaborate with Dikchhya, to support her to feed her extended family for a year.
INSPIRATIONAL LEADER 3
Ending Human Trafficking - Every 25 seconds a girl is trafficked and forced into the global sex trade
Our third inspirational leader is Nary. Her family, like many others around her, runs a restaurant on the roadside in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, selling street food. Still recovering from many years of civil war, rapid development and corruption, families have no guarantee of having their patch on the roadside from one day to the next. They can be shut down without warning. Sometimes they make less than a dollar a day to feed 7 people. The girls are especially at risk of human trafficking or entering the global sex trade, just to keep a roof over their heads, or for their families to survive.
Against all odds, Nary decided to rewrite her community story. Nary has stepped into a leadership role with a big vision, creating a social enterprise, a hospitality training restaurant, to educate and train girls and women in her community. To provide them with the opportunity to earn a income so that they can not only change their lives, their families lives, but change the future of women in their community.
How It Works
All money raised will be shared between our 3 inspirational leaders so that they can create sustainable generational change for their communities. TribalNews.TV will create mini documentaries on each project, as a resource tool to inspire and educate other inspirational leaders to change their community story.
