Bobby needs our help.
Bobby Joe got diagnosed with Primary Cardiac Cancer in August, which consists of a tumor on his heart and is an aggressive and rare cancer that is extremely tough to treat. They initially started him off on one hour chemotherapy sessions but quickly got more aggressive with 4 hour sessions twice a week to try to shrink the tumor. They have not seen the results that they wanted so the discussion has moved to potentially having multiple surgeries to remove the tumor.
In the midst of all of this, Bobby continued to student teach at Churchill High School and Tejada Middle School, and graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a degree in Music Education (GO RUNNERS!). He was and will continue to be active in the Spirit of San Antonio band (SOSA), is a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia and Kappa Kappa Psi. He has never once had a woe is me attitude even after being faced with the toughest battle he will ever have to endure and still tries to put other people before himself.
The goal of this campaign is to help Bobby pay for any and all medical bills he will accrue during this battle. No one should have to fight for their life while worrying about whether or not they can afford it. We are starting off high because Bobby has been paying for all of his appointments and chemotherapy on his own, which has put him back in debt thousands of dollars. Also, it is estimated that the surgeries to remove the tumor could START at $10,000.
This is not going to be an easy battle for Bobby, but he is ready to face it and beat it. With your support, we can help the Heart of Bobby Joe.
