The Heart of SPARC 3 Halls Walk!

In January 2023 the SPARC staff team are going to do the 9 mile, Stockport 3 Halls Walk with the aim to raise funds for;

1. A Heart Defibrillator as part of our Health and Safety systems.

2. An update to SPARC's IT system which is the ‘Heart’ of SPARC that is in dire need of a kiss of life.

SPARC is a charity that has supported people with mental health issues in Stockport for 37 years. We help to improve people's quality of life by providing a safe environment in which people can socialise, grow, recover and reconnect with their own goals and ambitions.

The cost of living crisis is affecting everyone and as a result more and more people are in need of the support that SPARC provides. As we continue to get busier, we want to ensure that SPARC is the safest place it can be if there is a medical emergency. Purchasing an emergency defibrillator would allow us to provide life-saving care when it is most needed. In addition to this we are sorely in need of new computer equipment. Technology is critically important to our charity and is in the background of how we support everyone we work with, it allows our charity to function on a day to day basis.
