The Hellyer Family

On May 31st, the Hellyer family suffered an unexpected and tragic loss. Miles Hellyer passed away suddenly and left behind his wife, Sarah, and his 5 children, Brooke, Tatum, Zoey, Nate, and Silas.

Miles and Sarah met as teenagers and have had a deep, personal connection to the community for many years. Sarah recently fought and won a battle against breast cancer, so the Hellyer family has already struggled immensely in the past few years. They need us now.

Some of you may know Sarah as a server at The Press Room. Undoubtably she has taken care of many of you and your families over the years that she’s worked there. Additionally, their son Nate recently worked at The Press Room as a dishwasher and endeared himself to the staff immediately.

The Press Room Crew is very tightly knit and Sarah and Nate mean the world to us. On behalf of the staff, I’m asking the community to help us give them and the rest of their family some financial security as they navigate their unimaginable grief. Sarah has had to take a leave of absence from work to make arrangements and they are now transitioning from a two income household to one. Anything you can give to support this incredibly deserving family is greatly appreciated.
