Please Help The Historic Ramona Theatre

The Frederick Arts and Humanities Council had 3 Great events in December Breakfast with Santa, The Grinch Movie and Christmas at the Ramona. Then on Christmas day, we witnessed water pouring out of the front doors of the theatre onto the sidewalk. The heater quit working and the pipes burst in the lobby ceiling causing major damage.

We knew we were going into 2023 needing a new roof, 2 AC/heat units and now on top of that we will have to repair the damage to the lobby. The estimate for all of these repairs will exceed $75,000. We only have liability insurance on the building due to the high cost of historic buildings. 2023 will be our year of fundraising to bring the ramona back to the beautiful theatre we all love.
