Ryan Hodak Memorial Fund

Family and Friends, I am reaching out to all of you on behalf of my sister Laura Hodak and her two children, Derick and Kailynn. On August 18th their lives were forever changed by the death of their beloved husband and father, Ryan Hodak.
On August 6th Ryan was Diagnosed with AML Leukemia; this was devastating news for Laura and Ryan, but they were strong and were gearing up for the journey ahead. Ryan started treatment immediately, and after his first week of chemo, he was tired but feeling good. Unfortunately, on August 17th everything changed for the worse. Ryan rapidly declined due to a bacterial infection, and with his immune system being wiped out by the chemo, he could not fight the infection.
As most of you know, Ryan and Laura have worked hard and sacrificed to achieve their goals and dreams. They recently moved into their dream home, where they planned to raise their kids and enjoy their successes. Ryan was so proud of where he was in life. He had a beautiful family, a thriving business, and an amazing community of friends and family. He literally couldn't have asked for anything more. The loss of Ryan will leave a void with his family and friends that can't be filled. Ryan was a man with so much love to give. He could fill a room with his gregarious personality. He will be missed.
The loss of Ryan has left a hole in their family, and I am asking for your support. Anything you can contribute will be greatly appreciated. All donations will go towards any medical, funeral, and living expenses for Laura, Derick and Kailynn.
While in the hospital, Laura encouraged Ryan to document his journey, and I will leave with his words from his journal:
"And one thing that amazes me is the support of people all through life, EVERYONES support has been so great that even in uncertain and trying times to come, our family and friends are PRICELESS. To everyone who has called, texted, reached out, thought about this I CAN'T say thank you enough from the bottom of my heart." Ryan Hodak 8/10/2022
