Hi, my name is Sydney and I’m making this GoFundMe because my dad needs all the hope, prayers, thoughts, good vibes he can get. We all do.

We aren’t typically the kind to ask for help, but many have reached out to us about starting this for our Dad and for our family. On 6/16, my dad went into the ER at Siloam Springs Regional Hospital and was admitted and transferred to Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville. By 6/17, he was transferred into the ICU after coding for 7 seconds, and was placed on a ventilator under sedation in critical condition. He has remained this way ever since. There’s still a lot we don’t know. He has been diagnosed with many things that we have chosen to keep private at this time. He ran a high fever for several days and is just now getting back to a normal temperature. He is very sick, and we are very scared and worried.

It has been an emotional roller coaster for us. My brother, his oldest son, got married on 6/23 while my dad was sedated in a hospital bed. The wedding was beautiful and while we were overjoyed for them, there was definitely an overwhelming sadness not having my dad there. My youngest brother is going to be a Senior this year. He needs his dad to see him graduate and be there for all the next chapters.

There’s just a lot of emotions as we navigate options and next steps.
