The Hog Pit Staff Relief Fund

Dear friends and Hog Pit family,

With little to nearly no notice, like many restaurants / bars in NYC, we had to close our doors until further notice due to COVID-19. While we understand the severity of the pandemic, it has unfortunately temporarily forced to close down, and has therefore left our entire staff out of employment. Bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff are amongst the most vulnerable amidst the current chaos. They simply do not have the luxury of working from home.

This is where you come in.

If The Hog Pit has served you a happy or safe place in the past, we are asking for your help. No donation is too little or too big.

First and foremost, we ask that you donate what you can. Anything you donate to this GoFundMe will go directly to the Hog Pit Staff and their families.

Perhaps equally as importantly, we ask that you ring your local representative or senator, and tell them the restaurant industry not only needs to be a part of the federal stimulus plan, but there needs to be a better plan implemented for small business owners.

The Hog Pit and its employees, from your noon bartender cracking open your PBRs to the guy who's back there at 9am prepping your pulled pork, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting us through all of these years, and more importantly, through such a difficult time.
