September 1, 2021 It’s been two months since we lost our home, and we finally have news worth sharing! As many of you know, obtaining a crane to remove the tree took a while, then we had to find a contractor during the busy summer season, and then came the many communications between insurance, bank, and contractor. Good news: the back half of the house has a roof! We also have a front wall with siding, a front door once again, and a deck to get up there. Unfortunately, with more work being done on the house, more damage is being found inside and the mold just keeps growing. We are unsure how everything will play out but are hoping to be home by mid-October. We are leaving this fundraiser open as we are still unsure how much insurance will cover, have yet to receive any reimbursement funds from insurance, and may need to replace the moldy furniture, rip up the carpets, etc., etc. Thank you all for your support and generosity in this trying time. Hello friends and family of Tim and Shannon

You may have heard that Tim and Shannon's wonderful home has been severely damaged by a fallen tree.

They and their very loved big fur family have been displaced.

There will be insurance but as you can imagine, none of that happens fast enough (like IMMEDIATELY) Essential needs such as food and temporary living supplies, need to be met.

They will need to secure temporary housing, help with temporary pet placement.

Shannon is currently working as a veterinary technician, runs a cat foster/adoption program, and is hoping to go to vet school.

Tim is a Direct Service Provider working in a home for adults with disabilities, also currently pursuing phlebotomy.

These humans are difficult to summarize in words and a few lines. While they would both understate how amazing they are, their friends, family, co workers and colleagues know how incredibly kind and selflessly giving they are every day of the year. As their friend and former neighbor I will attest to this.

Let's pull together and support them like they are always here for others.

So far they can't even begin to cover the home or remove the tree until insurance people come.
