The Homeless and their furry friends

Do you have a furry friend at home? Have you ever feared being homeless? Hi, my name is Gianna, and I am a Senior at New Dorp High School. I am raising funds for New York City's growing homeless population and their furry little friends. As we approach winter, the weather is beginning to change and is starting to become a problem for the homeless. Without heat, hats, gloves, socks, or blankets the homeless struggle to make it through the day. Not only do the homeless struggle to stay warm, but their furry friends also are impacted. With the weather getting colder and inflation taking over our world, the homeless can barely afford to get something to eat. Why should the homeless choose between eating and buying a jacket to keep warm? How can we help solve this global issue? We can start solving this issue by donating. Even donating a dollar can go a long way. With the money I raise, I will buy blankets for the homeless and their furry friends, hats, heated gloves, and warm socks. Be the change in our community.
