The Honeycutts (In Memory of Travis Honeycutt)

My name is Mae Hoots, and I am working in partnership with Kayla Barkdull (a family friend of the beneficiary) to run this fundraiser to benefit the Honeycutt family.

On August 23, 2022 at just 35 years young, Travis Honeycutt is no longer suffering. He has left behind a loving wife, Meghan Ivey Honeycutt, whom he adored, and their two beautiful teenage daughters, Brae'leigh and Madison.

Travis has battled for his life for quite some time now with his wife, two daughters and their families by his side.

Three years ago is when his liver issues began. It has been a hard road in and out of hospitals since. Travis was diagnosed with COVID in January, and it attacked his liver. Just a month ago he was diagnosed with end-stage liver disease, cirrhosis, and 3-4 stage kidney failure. Meghan was told he had three months to live unless he had a liver transplant. He did not qualify no matter how much they tried.

Travis was a loving, devote husband and father. He worked hard to care and provide for his family always. Travis and Meghan were what true love is, having been together since young teens.

Meghan is our childhood friend and needs all the support we can give her during this emotionally painful time. Finances have also been hard to keep up with for Meghan while Travis was in the hospital. We know expenses are only growing, and funeral costs are outrageous. As we all know, bills don’t stop. Any funds received will be used to support the Honeycutt family by contributing to funeral costs, medical bills, and day-to-day costs.
